The Marshalltown Area United
Way, through the Executive Director and Board members
are also team player involved in many other community
endeavors and committees. The United Way plays a
role in networking with other funders and groups
developing services. The United Way shares information
on services already available and helps by trying
to avoid duplication of services, thus making sure
that donor dollars have the greatest impact on providing
services within Marshall County.
Currently the Executive
Director of the United Way serves as a committee member
on the Homeless
Coordinating Board, Chamber
of Commerce Member, Marshalltown Rotary
Club and serves as a board member of the Marshall
County Coalition for Youth, and the Community Service
Network. Serves on various ad-hoc committees throughout
the year.
